Why another guild site?

Basically, in order to maintain my own guild's forums and guild-related information, in a way I like.

The longer list

The main purpose of this site is to be a place where a lot of useful information about characters and guilds can be found. The hope is that it will encourage inter- and intra-guild communication and cooperation while other sites tend to make guilds competitive and private.

This site is never going to be complete simply because there are always more things to add. I hope it will always be useful. Items can be added as needed, and new features appear very frequently.

Here are the features I plan on adding, or have started on:

• Work orders -- posting what crafting you need done.
• Work offers -- posting what crafting you'd be willing to do.
• HQ tracker.
• Access quest tracker.
• Groups: either automatic ones by guild rank, or manual ones by toon
• Forums, public or group-specific
• email for guild leaders, and even toons
• shared and private calendars, so guilds can host events for their private use, for alliances of guilds, or for the general public.
